REVEIW: Top Gun hasn't arrived to
our New Zealand review center yet, which means two
things: a) our reviewers are actually getting some real
work done for a change, and b) we'll post our own reviews
when it becomes available.
Top Gun: Fire At Will As the review scene goes, PC Zone was the
first to take a stab at it with its hefty 3-page review
(look up PC Zone April 1996 page 56). Then there's the
offering from PC Gamer which was reviewed in March 1996.
There is an online version here as well. Check them out
if you can. If you can't get a hold of the mags then stay
tuned with us and in the meantime view the online PC
Gamer review from here. If You Own This Game Email Your Review Here! YOU MUST INCLUDE: The Game Name, Your Name, Your Email Address! Tomorrow, your words: "could be right here." |
Top Gun: Fire At Will
Pending...
88% PC Gamer March 1996 "For years, flight sims have been getting more complex and more accurate. Here's one that does just the opposite and, for want of a better phrase, cleans 'em and fries 'em." "An intriguing new direction for the flight sim, and an ideal treatment of the film. I approve." Full Review.
92% PC Zone April 1996 With Spectrum's Top Gun there's a smooth
blending of two completely different art forms:
movie-style adventure with mid-action chatter. the
In-flight chatter is both abundant and unobtrusive giving
a real sense of being on the edge. The storyline is both
cinematic, and nicely scripted. "Atmosphere, with a
capital 'A'. It's completely interactive... And it
actually works. Jesus Christ! Praise be to the
lord!" |
